Enables the ability to Re-Link the Back-End(s) – for example: Back-End(s) moved to a non-default location  ie. move the BackEnd(s) to a different location.

Note: this functionality is available for Advanced Users only. Be aware, that though it is possible to move the Back-End(s) to a different location than the default installation, there is no Support provided for custom installations of Metadata Utility.

If a Back-End has been moved and not properly updated to the new location, then Metadata Utility will prompt on opening to update/browse to the Back-End(s) new location:

Do NOT use/enter neither Single Quotes or Double Quotes on neither:
Back-End Name, nor
Full Back-End Path

In the event, that all the Back-End Information was deleted, then click on ‘Add New’ – ‘Yes’ and provide the necessary Information as follows:
1 – Name of the Back-End including extension and
2 – Full Path including the File Name and Extension.

Repeat the process until all the information for all Back-End(s) has been entered and/or verified to the correct location.

Once completed, then click on the ‘Close’ Button to close Metadata Utility, then re-open Metadata Utility again.

-Any Advanced Template Files should be downloaded and stored into this location C:\DBases\Data\DbDocs
