License Management
Allows you to Register the License(s) of the purchased Feature(s), ie. ‘Windows Media Center’ Metadata ‘XML’ Management, etc
To access ‘License Management” follow these steps:
From the Main Switchboard, click on ‘Maintenance Switchboard’
click on ‘Look Up Maintenance Switchboard’
click on ‘License Management Switchboard’
click on ‘License Management’
Register New License
Select the Stage to register
click on ‘License Manager’
-Select ‘Activate’
-Enter the License Key
-Enter the registered Email Address
-click ‘Activate’
Confirmation upon successful registration
-Click ‘ok’ on the confirmation Message
-click ‘Close’ to close ‘License Manager’
-click ‘Close’ to close ‘License Management’ or, continue to register other Stage Licenses (ie. Stage 2, Stage 3, etc)
Un-Register an existing License
needed (for example) for a migration (new PC).
-Option 1 – Click the ‘X’ (Delete Plug-In)
-Option 2 – Edit given Licensed Key – Delete registered Stage
Hit the ‘Tab’ Key on the Keyboard to move away from the Stage Field and you will be prompted:
If the Key is for any reason invalid (see Notes below), then you will see the following messages:
otherwise you will get the following Message:
Click ‘Yes’ to delete the registered License (Plug-In)
To de-register a ‘Family’ (Multiple) License (up to 5 PCs):
-Click on License Manager
-Select from the Drop Down ‘Deactivate’
-Click on the HardwareID of the PC that needs to be de-registered
-click on “Deactivate’
Note:
-a ‘Single’ License is limited to a single PC. In accordance to our End Of User Agreement (EULA), multiple Deactivation and Re-Activation of a license will result in a permanent invalidation and loss of the License – There are NO exceptions to this rule and NO refund(s) will be made on abuse of the EULA.
-A ‘Family’ License will enable up to 5 Devices to be activated under the same Key. Same rule applies for multiple activations exceeding 5 Activations and/or re-activations. For example, if a Family license is activated more than 5 Times, then the License Key may be permanently be revoked. There are NO exceptions to this rule and NO refund(s) will be made on abuse of the EULA.
